Branson usually enjoys mild winter weather, and there are plenty of seasonal offers for the value-minded visitor. Experience shows, attractions, golf, museums, fishing, fabulous dining, and keep in mind that many resorts and lodging properties offer great discounts during the winter months. Jan 12: Masters Trout Championship - An annual public fishing tournament (catch and release) at Lilley's Landing on Lake Taneycomo. Entry fee is $50 with cash prizes and trophies.
Jan 25 - Feb 3: Jekyll and Hyde - 2pm and 7pm, presented by the Tri-Lakes Community Theatre at the New Americana Theatre
Jan 26: Branson's Got Talent - 7pm, A fundraising event for a safe graduation night for our Branson Senior Class
Jan 26: A Twilight Walk - 5:30 pm, At the Lakeshore Trail trailhead. There is a marshmallow roast for participants where you'll make s'mores under the stars. Bundle up!
Feb 1 - 28: Sweetheart Month at Titanic Museum - Renew your wedding vows on the Grand Staircase, presided over by the ship's Captain! Reservations are required.
Feb 2: 4th Annual Guns 'n Hoses Basketball Game - 6pm, Branson Police officers and Firefighters play. No cost, but donations are accepted. Proceeds benefit the Police and Firefighters Association.
Feb 4: Hot Winter Fun Big Show - 7pm, At Dick Clark's American Bandstand Theatre. Many shows participate in this preview. Tickets may be purchased by calling 417-339-3003
Feb 7: 4th Annual Dancing with the Stars of Branson - 7pm, A community fundraiser held at Dick Clark's American Bandstand Theatre benefitting the Arts and other community organizations.
Feb 9: Father/Daughter Valentine Dance - 6:30pm to 8:30 pm, At the Branson Community Center. Refreshments provided. Pre-registration is required. Please register by Feb. 4th.
Feb 14: Valentine's Day Dinner at College of the Ozarks Keeter Center - 5pm to 8pm, Valentine's Feature Menu, Candlelight & Rose Petal Setting with Live Entertainment.
Feb 15 - 17: 17th Annual Tri-Lakes Bulding & Home Show - See all the new ideas in building and remodeling your home. Many area vendors will be there.
Feb 15 - 24: To Kill A Mockingbird - 2pm & 7pm, Presented by the Tri-Lakes Community Theatre. Location: God and Country Theater
Feb 23: World Sword Swallower's Day Events at Ripley's Believe Ir Or Not - 1:30pm, No cost for the outside performance. At 2:23pm, an official worldwide 'swallow' takes place.
Feb 23: Vince Elfrink Memorial Tournament - Annual public fishing tournament (catch and release) at Lilley's Landing. Entry fee is $50 with cash prizes and trophies to the top four teams.
Feb. 27: Branson's 4 Annual Gong Show - 6:49 pm
February is a special month at the Titanic Museum. It is "Sweetheart Month", "American Heart Month", and "Vow Renewal Contest Month". March 2nd and 3rd are "Girl Scout Days" at the Titanic.
